EMREX presented at the SCOOP4C Conference in Berlin

EMREX was late November presented at the SCCOP4C Conference in Berlin. SCOOP4C is a Stakeholder community to the once-only principle that aims at eliminating the administrative burden when citizens are required to provide the same information again and again to public administrations. The EMREX Project held its third seminar titled "EMREX Unleashed!" 30th November 2017 in Bologna. Around 80 participants from 11 countries participated, and the many great presentations during the day showed that the future of EMREX looks bright....

Workshop with uni-assist in Berlin

Earlier this month the EMREX Project had a successfull workshop with uni-assist in Berlin. Uni-assist is a german University Application service for International Students used by more than 150 german universities. Uni-assist is interested in using EMREX primarily for admission purposes. As an outcome of the workshop uni-assist are planning to implement an EMREX client in the next generation app for applicants so that it maybe in the portal during 2019. Workshop with Stiftung für Hochschulzulassung in Dortmund

The EMREX Project has just finished a succesful workshop with Stiftung fur Hochschulzulassung (SfH) in Dortmund. During the workshop SfH made the admission system AnTon (where applicants for German medicine studies can apply for their studies) an EMREX client and completed download of test data from test NCP. For the studies involved in this admission SfH is special interested in results from upper secondary school. DUO (the Netherlands) will deliver this as soon as the new ELMO-standard is decided. Last week EMREX was presented at the TAICEP 2017 Annual Conference. TAICEP is "The Association for International Credential Evaluation Professionals" and the presentation was well received. Another presentation at the conference showed how easy it is to falsify diplomas. With EMREX this is not an isssue. Thank you very much for a splendid conference in Rome!...

Workshop with SIGMA – Spain

On 15-16 February an EMREX workshop was held in Barcelona. SIGMA is one of the main actors in Spain regarding student information systems. EMREX in Poland ready for deployment

The newest official version (6.2.1 issued on 23.11.2016) of student information system USOS developed by Polish partner (University of Warsaw) for the consortium of more than 50 Polish Higher Education Institutions (MUCI) contains the EMREX module which offers functionality of both SMP and NCP. Workshop with DUO – the Netherlands

On 3-4 October an EMREX workshop was held in Groningen. The main purpose for the workshop was to demonstrate an EMREX implementation for the Netherlands, where Dutch students would be able to share their results with the EMREX network, and deliver result data from other countries to Dutch universities. The workshop was successful and a prototype was made demonstrating the data exchange in both directions. DUO will soon decide on how to follow up on this development....

Making of the new EMREX-video

The EMREX solution is made for the students and for the higher education institutions. Since electronic transfer between countries is a new service, we wanted to show the solution to students and test its user-friendliness. The students who participate in our new EMREX-video have not heard about EMREX before, and thought they were invited to an interview about the recognition process. EMREX active at the EUNIS 2016 conference

EMREX is actively participating at the EUNIS 2016 conference in Thessaloniki, Greece 7.-10. June 2016. EMREX together with the ERASMUS Without Paper-project and the Moebius mobility software group at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki arranged a pre-conference on paperless student mobility and a special session on student mobility during the conference with a special guest speaker from the European Commission. EMREX presented for the Dutch higher education institutions

EMREX was presented for the Dutch higher education institutions on June 19, 2015. The conference took place in Noordwijkerhout (near Den Haag and Schiphol) from 18 - 19 June. The organisers were DUO and Studielink (the Dutch enrolment portal). About 500 staff members of universities, governmental organisations and vendors attended the Conference. EMREX presented in Dundee at EUNIS 2015

EMREX has been accepted by the Scientific Committee of EUNIS (European University Information Systems Organization) to participate as a presenter in the EUNIS2015 Congress. In the abstract for submission the benefits including quality, openness and reliability of the student achievement information were stressed.
